What is true leadership?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 08, 2007:
For me, a true leader look snot backward, looks not to either side, but looks inward, and fearlessy, courageously, does what she must do. Like a cup overflowing from a torrent within, lie a baby aching to be born.
He will not guide or seek followers, but points to the boat. We must row or float on our own journeys but can shower gratitude on the leader who pointed the way..
