This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 23, 2007:
Movement is in my very nature. I have no choice.
Therefore, travel, true travel has become me, as have become my journeys.
Yet my heart is in Pune, Paris, Great Tew, Portland, Chiapas, Machynlleth and countless more... wherever and whenever I am. I here which is all.
"The sage may know all under heaven wthout going out of doors"-Tao Te Ching
But take me somewhere YOU love.... please.

Lake Lucerne Switzerland. Fall 1986.
Cool, but not cold.
Awakened by a bell, breakfast of ham and bread, coffee and fruit.
Drive to the tram to ascend to Mt Pilatus…overlooking the lake. There are many ascending the ountain on foot, but we ride in an enclosed tram with windows on all sides.
Atop the mountain, a garden, a place to sit and reflect upon the beauty of the Swiss countryside, clean, a vision….then…a Swiss jet flies overhead, swift and encompassing my attention…I sense an immediate at-one-ment with the world…
Later a boat ride along the lake, wine and cheese, sounds of languages not understood, comraderie abounds….
one day….so long ago….and Now.
Happy trails….
