Do you find it hard to assert yourself?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 17, 2009:
Assertion is force.
I do not need to convnce, asseret, convert or pressure another soul or living being.
I wish to be still as a mountain, rooted, yet half in light, half in shasdow.
I wish to flow like a river, softest of the soft, pliable, welcoming and essential.
