This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 31, 2009:
right at this very moment, my heart needs my own forgiveness.
I'm searching for the best meditation to do after accidentally eating meat two hours ago...I've been a full-on vegetarian (for every possible reason) for 11 years. and this morning I blew it from not paying attention to a menu description and not studying what was in the salad.

Help

Hi Paul! I am a vegetarian too. I have been all my life. I was raised as one. Yet, I am pretty sure I myself may have accidentally eaten me several times in my life. For example, I used to eat jelly a lot. When I grew up, I realized it is made from gelatin, which is really made from the bones of animals boiled. So, I think it is ok. Just touch your heart, and, well, the following meditation in the introduction to the group I created would help, I think: http://groups.gaia.com/heartlove Also ask the Holy Spirit for help simply by saying: “This need not be. This is not real. I be still and listen to the Voice of God. I be still and feel the space of God. I be still and look within into the sight of God.” :)
forgiveness is always available, and there was no intent to eat the meat… hope you are ok about this now. hugs
